Low porosity: soak hair with warm water for a few minutes, rub the conditioner between your hands and massage from roots to ends — warmth (e.g. a heat cap) improves absorption. Medium porosity: soak with lukewarm water and massage focusing on the ends. High porosity: work generously from roots to ends into wet hair.
