What is behind the routine

Moisture keeps your hair soft and pliable. The Styling Gel clumps your curls and gives them hold. A light hair oil finishes the routine and leaves a polished look.

Your goal: defined, clumped curls with natural movement.

Our recommendation for this goal

Porositaet

How porous is your hair?

Low porosity

Your hair takes in products slowly and gets weighed down easily.

Unsere EmpfehlungApply the Leave-In to very wet hair and start with small amounts.

Medium porosity

Moisture goes in well and stays put.

Unsere EmpfehlungWork the Leave-In and the gel evenly into wet hair.

High porosity

Your hair takes in moisture quickly, but loses it just as fast.

Unsere EmpfehlungBe a little more generous with the Leave-In and round off the routine with hair oil.

FAQ

Common questions

How much gel do I need?

Start with a small amount and work your way through section by section. You can always add more, but you cannot take it back out.

Will it make my hair feel hard?

The gel cast can feel firm once your hair is dry. Scrunch it out with your hands and the definition stays while your hair feels soft again.

Do I really need the hair oil?

It is the finishing step. It pays off if your ends are dry or your porosity is high. With low porosity, a few drops are plenty.

Porosity

Do you know your porosity?

Your curl pattern is not the only thing that decides your care routine. Just as important is how your hair takes in moisture and products, and how well it holds on to them.

Low porosity

Water takes longer to get into your hair, and products can build up on the surface more quickly.

Deine StrategieMore water. Less product. Light layers.

Medium porosity

Your hair takes in water and care products fairly evenly.

Deine StrategieKeep your care balanced and let the feel of your hair guide the amount.

High porosity

Water goes in quickly, but it often leaves just as quickly.

Deine StrategieLayer your moisture. Look after the lengths. Add hair oil when your hair asks for it.

Still not sure?

Watch your hair after wash day:

  • How quickly does it get wet?
  • How quickly does it dry?
  • Do products tend to sit on your hair, or are they absorbed quickly?

How your hair feels and how it reacts to products will help you tailor your routine.
