Curl Shampoo
Gentle cleansing for natural curls and Afro hair
Curly and Afro hair needs particular attention and products made for it. With our curl shampoo from Afrolocke you get the right cleansing for your curls, without drying them out or weighing them down. For visibly healthy, defined and shiny curls, day after day.
Why a shampoo made for curls matters
Curly and Afro hair is naturally drier, because the scalp's own oils do not travel easily down to the ends. Conventional shampoos often contain harsh sulfates and silicones that dry the hair out further and can damage its natural structure. Our curl shampoo is therefore formulated to be especially mild. The liquid shampoo contains one cleansing surfactant, is silicone free and relies on nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, broccoli seed oil, argan oil and coconut oil. The solid shampoo is completely sulfate free and silicone free.

The ideal curl care routine
To get the most out of your curl shampoo, we recommend using it together with the other products developed by Afrolocke:
- After washing, our conditioner adds extra moisture, improves combing and protects your curls from drying out.
- Our leave-in cares for the hair lastingly, adds moisture and gives supple, naturally defined curls without weighing them down.
- For definition and hold there is our curl styling gel, which gives your curls a natural finish.
- With our hair oil you seal the moisture into the hair, protect the ends and give your curls a natural shine.
How to use it
- Massage the curl shampoo into wet hair and onto the scalp.
- Lather gently and let it work briefly so the nourishing ingredients can take effect.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Then massage the conditioner into damp hair, let it work and rinse out.
- Afterwards work the leave-in into damp hair and do not rinse. Optionally follow with the hair oil to seal in the moisture.
